Your Reiki Treatment...

At the start of the session, you will be warmly greeted and given the opportunity to ask any questions, in relation to your treatment. If it is your first Reiki treatment, I will explain what to expect and give you the option of a 'Hands on Reiki Treatment' or a 'Hands Off Reiki Treatment'. I will ask you to read, complete and sign a Client Agreement Form, where you provide some personal and administerial details, then your Reiki Treatment will begin. All information in relation to your Reiki Treatment, is kept confidential.

During your Reiki Treatment, you will remain fully clothed throughout, with the exception of removing your shoes. I have a treatment table which I will ask you to lie on, it is your choice, if you lie on your back facing up, or on your front facing down, my preference is that you lie on your back facing up. I can also provide Reiki Treatments whilst a client is sitting on a chair, if they are unable to access the treatment table. Pillows and blankets are provided during your Reiki Treatment.

I will start the Reiki Treatment at the top of your head, following this, I will make my way down the body, following the path of the Chakra System. After a Reiki treatment, some clients like to reflect on their treatment, this is something that I encourage. A Reiki treatment can act as a clearing process and may bring up emotions or feelings, this is perfectly normal.

As a complimentary therapy, Reiki supports relaxation and the reduction of stress in the body. Reiki is not a substitute for traditional medicine; if you are receiving medical treatment from a GP or Consultant, for example, please continue to do so. As a Reiki practitioner, I cannot diagnose medical conditions, nor treat them on a medical basis.
